“Really get frustrated watching TV and someone says "we don't have time to get into the weeds on this" when there's 24 hours to fill on your cable news station. They mean they can't talk about it because they have to get to the next celeb-related drivel. Vox has been very good at filling that gap, but it's nice to have the chance to listen to these kinds of discussions and back and forths play out in real time rather than reading several people's takes on the issues in long form.
