“If you, too, are a young-ish left-leaning type who doesn't think there's anything wrong with watching c-span every now and then, you'll love The Weeds. That should really tell you all you need to know about it. The first episode was kind of blah, but the second on gun control and a single payer healthcare system was pretty interesting. I enjoyed the white paper segment too. The hosts definitely fashion themselves on the Vice News archetype, thinking they're cool and edgy by dropping the odd f-bomb and finishing sentences with characteristically millennial uptalk, but these little personal trait quibbles are a small price to pay for an engaging and substantive discussion.”Read full review »
