“I’ve been listening to this podcast for about a year now and although I had originally thought it would be a history of swear words what I got was much better! The conversational style of telling history is much more engaging than the monotone, seemingly-bored-to-tears history podcasts I’ve tried in the past. I appreciate all the different nationalities that have been represented in this podcast as of late, especially since I’ve only been educated about white American men in my classes so far. I also really appreciate that she lists her sources and encourages listening to the podcasts she learns from. This podcast gets me through work shifts, house chores, and hard times, and I hope this show goes on for as long as possible. Vulgar History has made me more interested in history than I thought I’d ever be, so thank you for an entertaining source of education and inspiration for what career field I’m looking into. Ann & crew, thank you for putting so much into this show (this show is my coping mechanism) and I’m signing up for the Patreon very soon!”
