“Ta-Nehisi is a masterful guide on this powerful, expressive and ingenious peek behind the curtain of a cultural phenomena that has swept the world once already, and is set to do so again with the release of Wakanda Forever. In Epsiode 1, Coogler is so authentic, genuine and vulnerable. One cannot help but resonate with the confidence and trepidation one feels when venturing into the unknown to accomplish something that has never been done before. It was inspiring to hear the passion and process that fueled the creation of this second movie and the near prophetic faith and commitment Chadwick had to the MCU realization of this iconic character and the nation he rules before the Black Panther was a definite go. I can’t wait to see the movie, but I also can’t wait to experience the remaining episodes of this podcast to hear from other members of the cast and crew. It is abundantly clear from so many accounts that the praise for Coogler, Boseman and co. in the creation of Black Panther was rooted in deep commitment, immense creativity and true artistry at its pinnacle. If this podcast is any indication, Wakanda Forever promises the same with yet more added into the mix. Job well done Proximity Media, I’m looking forward to the rest.
