Another great podcast from TheTrek! Interview-based and so informative, plus short and sweet for when I don’t have time for an hour+ pod.

I came to this podcast from Backpacker Radio’s interview with host Alison Young. She and her guests are amazing! I can’t get enough hiking content but feel the episodes are a bit over-edited and -produced. I understand Young is aiming for the ~30 min length but the guests are so interesting, it...Read full review »

I love this show so much. The vibe is just so relaxing but it makes me want to go on adventures! Two people I’d love to hear on the show are Joe “Stringbean” McConaughy (FKT wizard) and Christy Rosander (prolific solo female hiker).

Great interviews and a beautiful format. Would love to hear an interview with Olive McGloin, the first lady to yo-yo the PCT

The interviews and storytelling are amazing, and it’s cool to see a backpacking podcast with such high production value. I love the guests Alison is able to get on the show. Real backpackers of all skills and experiences!

I really love this podcast. I think it provides a totally different but totally additive vibe to Backpacker Radio. This is fantastic.

The guest quality is sky-high and the host is exceptional. Good insight from experts and the interview questions are first rate. Best of all each episode has inspired an action on my part.

I’m more of a mountain biker/climber than a backpacker, but this is so fun to listen to for anyone interested in the outdoors. Zach and Chaunce are hilarious and the guests are always super cool and inspiring.

As someone new to the world of hiking - and an aspiring AT thru-hiker- I appreciate this podcast. I love The Trek site and blogs, so it’s natural to have moved into the podcast arena. I learn SO MUCH and the stories, personal experiences, information, etc. Keep up the great work!
