“Having been a huge fan of Emily Dean's work on Absolute Radio's wonderful Frank Skinner show for a long time, I was delighted to see that she had finally been given her own podcast. Anybody who listens to the Skinner show or had the pleasure of reading her brilliant piece in The Times earlier this year will agree that this is somebody that we've been dying to hear more from. And what a start! Eschewing the formal atmosphere of a studio and instead choosing to conduct the interview whilst out and about on a dog walk with her guest (in the case of the first episode the hilarious Alan Carr), the show proves to be an incredibly entertaining, unpredictable and enlightening experience. Emily asks questions and explores areas that really inspire thoughtful responses, with the humour that makes her such an essential part of my Saturday mornings never too far away. Emily's skill as an interviewer and natural charm combine to make the show as joyful to listen to as it obviously was to record! A perfect host and a wonderful, original idea.
