Discovery.
As with many, my knowledge of Dante and the Comedy really only stemmed from a college humanities survey course, and not much more. But the recent PBS Ric Burns documentary on the life and works of Dante has put me on your doorstep, and I must say, I’m mesmerized! So, with the Comedy in translation before me, and your guide, in my ears, I’m setting off, far to the rear. But moving in your wake, nonetheless.
