“I can’t express how much I love this podcast and my gratitude to Mark for creating it. My interest in The Comedy was sparked this year and I read it (in translation) with the help of commentaries. But I’ve felt somehow a bit remote from the text itself, much of which has baffled me. I really needed this slow walk through the text, focussing on the words and structure of the poem. It’s brought me so much closer to Dante, with a feeling that I can start to engage with this text myself and really start to feel Dante’s journey and walk with him.
