Amazing adaptation of great writing
After reading the Worm web serial a few years ago, I discovered the audiobook project last year and listened to it all of the way through during my long commutes to and from work. The fact that fans of the web serial started and sustained this project is impressive (it is an incredible amount of work). The audio/recording quality is great, the guest performers and group collaborations are fun, and the editing/sound mixing is high-quality. I have not read a single page of the sequel to Worm (Ward... this audiobook), but I have listened to every episode via this podcast, as it has been released. Robert 'Rein' Ramsay does the vast majority of the chapters, and his passion for delivering J.C. McCrae's epic story in audio form is apparent. Rein makes a fantastic narrator. He subtly (and consistently) changes his voice to help keep dialogue between characters distinct and easy to follow, and has just the right amount of expression and pacing to deliver the proper "feel" for each chapter. It is the highlight of my day when I get in the car, and see that another chapter has been published.Read full review »

10.x especially, Sietta is not a character, nor is it even an attempt at saying Svetta.

Just try to play the interludes at double speed to get through them if you can understand what they’re saying.
