Based on the first two episodes, the model for this podcast seems to be this: the hosts conduct interviews with cult survivors, get them to reveal salacious details and relive their trauma, and then edit the footage together with crude and boring jokes at the victim’s expense. It tries for irreverence and instead lands on insensitive and unfunny. If I were Joanne from the first episode, I’d surely feel betrayed by the hosts for treating my ordeal like a huge joke. I had also heard a preview for this show that promised to delve deeper into how ordinary folks wind up getting indoctrinated, yet there was none of this in the first two episodes. But both hosts claim to have escaped from cults as well? Stay away, unless some major changes happen with this show.

Intriguing topic if you can get passed a heap of scripted one liners.

Please stop this corny humor and let these folks tell their story. We do not need to hear from Tyler or Liz. The absolutely ruin what could be a good podcast.
