Laughter really is the best medicine
While my own experience was not so extreme I could totally relate to the experience of the woman in the first episode who had the courage to challenge long held beliefs and walk away from a community that no doubt had become her support system. I love that it was presented with humour. When you live in one of these extreme religious communities everything is so serious and emotionally intense. Reversing that and having the courage to take a more light hearted view is liberating and healing. Can’t wait to hear the next episode …

Guests tell compelling stories, but there’s too many commercials and the host’s constant need to be “funny” completely ruins the momentum of the episodes.
