Great show--exasperating podcasts
As noted previously the podcast uploads are erratic at best. They are often not posted, even 48 hours after the show airs, or there is a server/link issue and it won't download. PBS gives very short shrift to its podcasts. I finally gave up on Shields & Brooks after 2 weeks went by without an update. If they think being on iTunes will get them more donations, they need to take care of that audience. These shows are time sensitive, and not many people want to listen to a 2-week old show. It would be nice if iTunes posted statistics on how many subscribers a podcast has--then PBS could see how their numbers are taking a nosedive, and maybe they might ask 'why?' & DO something about it.Read full review »
