“This really is a great format for a gaming podcast. Pick a title from the varied and long history of video games, play through it, and discuss. I can't say this is my favorite podcast though. The hosts, Gary and Kole, can sometimes come off a little dry, and that really isn't a complaint. The discussions are often deep, interesting, and often pretty darn entertaining which more than makes up for the lack of upbeat wackiness some of my other podcast obsessions have. Standout episodes for me are the Silent Hill 2, Super Mario RPG, Call of Cthulhu, and Parasite Eve shows. If you are a fan of, or just have nostalgic memories of any of the games they've done a show on you owe it yourself to give this podcast a listen. Its great to hear honest and thorough discussions about video games you remember fondly or that may have even faded from your memory. The only real negative I have against the show is that there aren't more episodes and the amount of time between new games, and that can't be helped given the time it takes to playthrough a game as well as the fact these fine gentlemen probably have real lives. Great stuff!”Read full review »
