“Ran into this podcast while searching for music from Gabriel Knight on iTunes, so I started with that episode (the intro is hilarious) and listened to a dozen or so more after that. It's generally fun and insightful - the guys don't take themselves too seriously but at the same time they know their stuff. I expected to enjoy hearing people reminisce about games I played as a kid, but their analysis of game mechanics, story, historical context, etc. adds some depth to the discussion.
I've mostly listened to episodes of games I've played, but some of the episodes of them tearing apart awful games (ex- Sword of Mana) have been equally fun. Glad I found this podcast by happy accident.”Read full review »
