Great show, bad intro.
WoFF is a great podcast. Gary and Kole provide interesting insight and commentary, interspersed with their own humor, past experiences, and with a healthy dose of the game's soundtrack. I've enjoyed listening to episodes about games I have a deep affection for and games I've never played alike. Even games that are solidly outside my normal selection (like Silent Hill and Call of Cthulhu) have been enjoyable to hear about. I don't want to be too mean to these guys, but the opening skit is easily the worst part of each episode. It's come to the point where I just skip to the three minute mark when I start listening. If you think it's awful and are tempted to turn off the podcast (as I once was), just skip it. The rest of the show is easily good enough to forgive e minor annoyance of having to seek past (or power through) the first few minutes.Read full review »

Definitely worth your while if you're into games (particularly slightly "older" games). Insightful remarks, playful banter, fun all around!Read full review »

Gary and Cole do a great job of dicussing and reviewing old video games without being biased by the rose colored glasses of nostalgia. WOFF goes into great depth of each game and even encourages listeners to play along and give their input. I would encourage anyone who loves or enjoys classic...Read full review »
