Bioshock
Bioshock was an extremely great game, and probably the first I have played that immerses you so well through non traditional story mechanics. While are some cutscenes the majority of the story is told openly through the environment and scattered audio logs that slowly fill in the pieces to this huge world. The combat in the game is not too shabby either, giving you a mix of first person shooter and tactical/puzzle type encounters. With roaming enemies, changing environments, and always a new development and (with a few exceptions) well-built 'quests' to complete, you always feel like you're doing something. While I feel I connect more with the later games (mainly Infinite), BioShock always demands another playthrough. Nostalgia never felt so goodRead full review »

Very good retro gaming podcast, don't always agree with your opinions (I LOVE Banjo-Kazooie and Klonoa), but that's what makes things like this interesting.Read full review »

The hosts have excellent chemistry. They thoroughly pick apart great games from ten, twenty and thirty years ago

This show is making my morning commute awesome I don't even want to get off the bus. Very informative and casual, with awesome chemistry between the two hosts. Most episodes make me want to replay the game they are talking about for the week just to follow along.Read full review »
