The podcast might actually be better than the show itself...
Like many others, I came to Watching Dead after enjoying Jim and A-Ron's (sp?) Breaking Bad podcast which I think is the liveliest and most entertaining (along with the official one, which is an essential companion to theirs) podcast devoted to that great show. I have enjoyed their insights as far as the much weaker Walking Dead series goes and I share their occasional perplexed reactions to the show's plot and character problems, though I sometimes think they focus too much on the negative without giving the show enough credit for what it (at least occasionally) does right. (I could do without the pokes at actor body flaws though, guys. And that goes for Anna Gunn as well.) But whatever...I really like your podcasts. I'm wondering if I'm not going to eventually give up on TWD though. And, by the way, I think Hell On Wheels has more potential than TWD and actually WOULD make for a good podcast subject in case you bail on TWD.Read full review »
