Thoughtful and Insightful Validation
Zoe Noble interviews women with an amazing variety of backgrounds with at least one major commonality: they consciously decided not to have children. We hear from women who faced enormous pressure from family, friends, society, and spouses to change their minds but were able to hold true to themselves and remain childfree. Women who are experiencing ambivalence toward motherhood. Women who knew from a very young age they’d never want children and have supportive family and friends. The message? Motherhood isn’t womanhood or personhood. Biology is not destiny. We are thinking, autonomous beings who deserve and demand bodily autonomy. Join us. Tell your friends (maybe especially the ones pressuring you to have kids!).

As a non-binary person who has a uterus it’s kind of annoying hearing “women are under pressure to have kids”, “women are brought up being told this is what they should do”. Not all people with uteruses...Read full review »
