“I am loving this show even though I don’t like sports much less soccer. I was actually in London at a pub for the England vs Germany World Cup match that is covered in episode one and was completely aghast to see grown man crying when England lost (and was horrified when that started turning into hooliganism so wise they kept my mouth shut). so I don’t really get the fuss. However, this podcast is a fascinating exploration into the stories of the different countries and individuals that clearly DO get it and shaped this worldwide phenomenon.”
