This is the perfect podcast to hype yourself up for Russia this summer, especially if your interests in the beautiful game reach beyond mere statistics and veer toward the humanity of it all. I’ve tried to explain to friends why sports history matters and should be preserved, and Nando Vila does an excellent job of proving my point. The stories he shares are universal tales anyone can relate to, whether they’re a diehard follower or not.
