My go to chill out podcast! Love listening to Dan and his ‘weirdo’ guests. I think ‘outside the box’ and always have. I’m 42 years old and it’s so nice these days to hear of people thinking the way I do and as I have always done. My favourite guests so far are the guys from the crab museum (I...Read full review »

It took me a while to really understand why I love this. As someone who lives in the business world, surrounded by ‘things ever high achiever does’ lists, it’s just so refreshing to listen to people embracing the differences in life and the roads it can take you down. Dans endless curiosity and...Read full review »

Love the energy and curiosity; a joy to listen to! Keep ‘em coming!

Great show, much entertainment! I think you’re still a touch stuck in rational materialism, but which is understandable considering your general cohort. Still exciting to watch your journey, and perhaps watch interests expand. Good fun!

I can’t believe the range of fascinating things covered on this show- so much more than advertised! Totally skeptic friendly, fact-based but curious and so much fun.

But I have to know what the song at the beginning of each episode is please

We can be weirdos is one of these gems of a podcast. The conversations with all these super interesting people that visit Dan and the stories of their lives brings back my faith in mankind. And on too of that, it is funny! Well worth a listen!

Dan & Al, thank you so much for this podcast . I started listening when I developed eye problems last year & took a gamble on a new podcast as I was in darkness a lot . The shows are always fascinating & uplifting , I’ve bought so many books because of it & will be buying your...Read full review »

This podcast is just a joy! Because of this podcast I started looking for more weird in my life and, without immediately realising, I also begun finding more things to feel joy and positivity about. So beautifully, this podcast has improved my general mood and wellbeing. Who would have guessed?...Read full review »

This is a great pod cast and I just love Dan Schreiber. But some of his guests are so stuck up and full of themselves it's toe curling. Luckily there are plenty of others that are nice and down to earthRead full review »

Great podcast always verging on the absurd, always recovering. Entertaining, wild, speculatively gifted.

Love hearing an Aussie in my ear holes. Thanks Dan for not only being an MVP on NSTAAF and TCF but curating this gem. Hi spooky Al!!

What a treat! I’m Australian, to hear a substantial interview with one of my local comedy heroes coming out of Britain was a moment of joy. Irrepressibly himself, yet viewed from a slightly different angle, a further dimension of this brilliant man is revealed. Thank you.

I really love this show. Every episode has been fascinating, apart from the last Donny Dust one, which was comparatively boring and slightly vomit inducing due to the gory descriptions of meat. I don’t think he was an ideal guest.

Found this pod via Dan Snows history hit and I am hooked. It’s a must listen for anyone curious or open minded to really immerse themselves in to a world of batsh#t craziness. Started off really well but now just presenters, actors and unfunny comedians ie. Dan’s pals, yammering on about themselves.

Anything with Dan Schreiber in is finding it’s way into my ears lately. My route may have been a weird one: Cryptid Factor, Weirdos then Fish but I would have known his work through QI. This podcast has even made me take a look at Discord, where I have chatted with fellow Weirdos. And now I find...Read full review »

I love this show. It’s awesome. It highlighted for me that there is weird stuff and people everywhere and everyone is involved somehow. Everyone has their own weird stuff and mostly people don’t even realise as they just accept it. Everyone is a weirdo whether they like it or not. Having no...Read full review »

I picked up Dan Schreiber’s book “the theory of everything else” in a book shop while looking for books on astronomy.. and that opened a whole new world for me! I’m not superstitious, don’t believe many things that would be considered strange and certainly do not believe in Yeti’s or the monster of Loch Ness….and yet… I love this podcast. It’s less and less about the world of weird and more just an advert for self obsessed people talking about themselves. The last few have been really boring to the point it gets turned off before they do the list.
MrGBowie via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 10/24/23
We Can Be Weirdos is me in podcast form. Dan, the presenter, knows things. He knows the same types of things that I know. The companion show is, if anything, even better. Always interesting. No such thing as a boring thing that Dan presents, produces, or writes.

Dan is highly entertaining and has the most interesting guests. He’s humble, asks the best questions, and isn’t afraid to be unapologetically himself. I learn something new every episode and find my mind opening to new possibilities and ways of thinking. Listen now, you won’t regret it!

Already loved Dan in NSTAAF, and this latest endeavour does not disappoint! Perfect balance of quirky humour, fact and theory based conversations, an amazing array of guests and all things weird and wonderful. I will no doubt run out of episodes shortly and will always look forward to the next!
