Once wonderful, now frustrating
I love this podcast and it gives such a refreshing perspective on the Second World War by showing it from the more human and logistical side. I have listened to every episode but the experience is quite frustrating now. They have decided to shift from weekly topics to more in depth series to promote officer class subscriptions and that’s fine - but the last one on the Burma front was completely rushed and I feel it’s so that they could move on to cover Market Garden again (I think it’s the 5th covering of it at least). Introducing the US and Atlantic/Naval side was great and the North cape coverage was amazing. We really just want more of that for areas that aren’t north west Europe. What happens when the British retake Burma? What’s going on with the Australians? What happened in East Africa and Asia? What was the Soviet view on western aid? What was life like for people in occupied Eastern Europe. Tell us more about people from Empire who joined the Allied cause. What about exploring what it was like on a battleship engaged in battle, or how aircraft carriers developed? What about the BAAC? Just some ideas to help mix it up a bit more

Came in late on this series but cleared the arrears of listening very quickly on the train to and from work. Outstanding knowledge and great ability to articulate in real language. Julian, Australia
