Always encouraging
Dear Reader, I've missed out on a lot in life, including being young enough to be the dad I've always wanted to be. I've seen the research, and the increased risk of birth defects is more connected to the even older fathers with whom older mothers have children. So thinking about parenting usually makes me sad. But this show always cheers me up. As soon as I hear the theme tune on my podcast app, I smile, and prepare for absolute honesty, no matter how much this couple embarrasses themselves. I can understand why other young parents, listening, find them such a breath of fresh air. Every episode is a step into their family's life, covering everything, and sometimes arguing (in a healthy way) about who said what, and whether that thing is easy or hard. Well worth any time you can spare.Read full review »

I really appreciate that they are honest about how hard this whole parenting thing is. And am thankful that they help me laugh about it! We aren’t alone in the humiliating times or worrying about being judged by others.
