“I subscribed to this podcast because I thought Terry O’Reilly would be narrating it. I really love his work and I am a longtime fan of Under the Influence. However, I regret to inform you that Sydney is not mature enough to hold my attention for the length of a show. Her delivery is awkward and she doesn’t speak with conviction. She comes across like a teenager reading a book report written by someone much smarter than she is. Also, the “uh-oh-uh-oh” intro is stupidity put to music and it stretches on for about 45-50 seconds. What’s the point? If you have nothing to say, cut it down to a few seconds. This show got off to a bad start with me, but I’ll revisit it in about 3 months time (if it lasts that long).”

“It’s a great podcast overall but there are certain aspects I dislike. You should finish the story instead of leaving off right before they get to live off there success. The lecture at the end of the episodes is very corny, and unwanted. You have to trust your audience to infer these lessons.”
