Loved this one. No idea about basketball but it was riveting. You felt so proud of him at the end. And I always wait for Terry O’Reilly to say “Never, ever give up.” It’s a mantra.

Simply inspiring. Well researched, written, produced and hosted. Can’t recommend this pod cast enough. Another example of the O’Reilly family production excellence

I love this podcast and can’t wait to hear the next episodes. And it’s another member of the O’Reilly family—how could anyone not love this family? I’ve been listening to Terry for years and just love his style. It’s great that the tradition continues in the next generation. Keep up the...Read full review »

I really enjoy this podcast and find myself riveted even when it’s about someone I don’t know. However, the host needs to find her own voice. I have listened to her dad’s podcast for years and while the diction sounds natural to him, it sounds forced for his daughter. I would enjoy this podcast...Read full review »

I enjoy this series, but I cannot remove them once I’ve heard. Very annoying

I really like the concept of the show and the stories. However, the recap at the end by Terry is unnecessary and paternalistic. Why does the host’s dad have to come in at the end and recap? Makes no sense.

Thanks for an inspiring podcast!Contrary to what one reviewer wrote about how they were bothered by how well everything is enunciated and clearly and slowly spoken, I appreciate these qualities in the podcast. It’s the podcast where people just seem to blather on endlessly off the cuff that irk...Read full review »

They have ZERO, none, not one of the subjects songs or music. Pay for the rights otherwise this podcast is a let down.

I love this show for many reasons! It’s been one of the best sources of positivity in what’s been a very negative year. I’m always so inspired and moved emotionally, especially at the end; the theme music just hits me in a special way, and uplifts me! Thank you to each of you for all the hard...Read full review »

This podcast is interesting, has great content but I get lost in the details of the story telling. There’s just too much and it should be shortened/heavilymedit for impact. The storytelling can be monotonous at times causing me to lose interest. Potential is there. Needs more polish.

I love this podcast! Sydney, you are so talented in how you create an interesting profile on those you cover! Thank you O’Reilly’s for giving us a great podcast to listen to! Janet

This podcast is addictive! I just keep coming and I can’t wait for more. The small end summary followed by “never, ever give up” is so inspiring. Never, ever stop making this podcast!

I really love the concept of this podcast, and learned a lot about people I admire and how they pushed through rejection. But oh god, the way BOTH hosts end sentences sounds incredibly forced. Like, every single sentence is supposed to be a cliffhanger to maintain listener interest. Like, “......Read full review »

I enjoy this podcast, but always need to stop once the main story is done. I don’t need a mansplaining recap of what I just heard.

My only complaint is that there aren’t more episodes since I’m listening to them so quickly! Keep it up!!!

Loved this. Came to mind as to why riffs from the album were not used as bumpers through this. Would have peppered it nicely. Is it a rights or referencing issue? Thankyou to all staff involved.👌

I like this podcast but I seriously cannot comprehend how they drag the ads on so long. Half the ads aren’t even promoting the topics, it’s just droning on and on about breakfast. And promoting the dairy industry in this day and age seems so unethical. It’s like promoting smoking.

The stories themselves aren’t bad but I can’t stand Terry’s constant editorializing and summarizing in his pompous slow voice. Leave the show to your daughter, Terry! We can do without you!

Enjoy this podcast. Don’t understand why Terry takes another 2-3 minutes to summarize the information that was just provided. Very repetitive.

This podcast has all the elements I like: it’s well-researched, interesting, and has an engaging host. Each episode was an encouraging and inspiring look at how people managed to triumph even with (and sometimes because of) some very harsh setbacks. Highly recommend.

I’ve read and listened to Terry O’Reilly’s lessons on marketing for many years - but, as awesome as his works are, Sidney O’Reilly’s podcast (The Rejection Podcast) is amazing. Really, really interesting podcast! Who knew that these successful people went through all this rejection? Not me ...until now! Can’t wait for every episode.

This podcast is insubstantial, corny and sometimes just stupid. You can get the same information from scanning a People magazine article. In fact, it’s like having a student from grade 7 summarize a People magazine article. Too bad.
Andrew-Jon via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 07/02/20
The podcast itself is decent. However, the majority of the subjects are all white people with connections and wealth.
