Refreshing, real, and a relief!
I am a multi-rejected emerging writer with a bucket of confidence that empties and fills, seemingly at its own whims. Hearing these stories of success, failure and finally success again, is something that gives me a boost when my confidence is flagging. I enjoy the clear narrative and the obviously well researched storylines. I particularly love the sound effects and sharp switches to different scenes.

This podcast has all the elements I like: it’s well-researched, interesting, and has an engaging host. Each episode was an encouraging and inspiring look at how people managed to triumph even with (and sometimes because of) some very harsh setbacks. Highly recommend.

I thought this would be the interview of the person in focus. Like the podcast How I Built This. Sadly it’s just someone reading aloud.

It’s a great podcast overall but there are certain aspects I dislike. You should finish the story instead of leaving off right before they get to live off there success. The lecture at the end of the episodes is very corny, and unwanted. You have to trust your audience to infer these lessons.
