Fantastic podcast not afraid to get in the weeds
I cannot speak highly enough of this podcast. I can't think of another podcast that offers a comparable degree of sophistication and nuance when it comes to legal issues. NOT that it is excessively dry, because it's not. The presenters look through technicalities to larger policy issues that non-lawyers can appreciate. Two give an example, in a recent episode, two extremely talented and articulate female advocates offered arguments for and against allowing damages against Gawker in the Hogan sex tape case. These were some of the best arguments if not THE best I'd heard on the issue, on both sides. It was not a debate of pundits arguing their special interests, but rather well-crafted, insightful arguments from people who care about the issue, acknowledge the difficult balance of interests inherent in many First Amendment cases, and appreciate the wider policy implications. If more people listened to this podcast, we would have a much better informed body politic. Thank you for performing this great public service!Read full review »

I really like the information and conversation that goes on in this podcast, however I find it hard to listen to because of all the background noise. It is difficult to hear the person who is speaking and the background noise is very distracting and unprofessional.

I’m so delighted to find an in depth podcast with a range of voices about constitutional issues. You learn a lot every time you listen! I’ve signed up for the National Constitution Center’s online classes this fall because of the podcast.

We The People is the best of these vanishing forums where enlightened conversation offers new insights into current events and the historical decisions and actions that inform them. It does not...Read full review »
