We all have situations where we find ourselves having sweaty palms, butterfly stomachs and anxiety.
The most common situation is Public Speaking. I have been making presentations for over thirty years. Largely in the wine industry and as the owner of Le Petit Chateau inn, which required a smooth delivery. Furthermore I was a Toastmaster for thirty years in Texas, California, New York, Florida
Here are some quick tips to calm your nerves:

It’s natural to be frightened by me.
Don’t stay frightened however
Find a neighbor or nearby friend to relieve the fear
Play cards or a game to take your mind off of my powerful rain and wind
Don’t weather my storm by yourself. Stay in touch with someone in close proximity
“But when you’re consumed with your own wants and needs, you lose touch with others who are involved in the uncertainty equation. This kind of self-centeredness is the opposite of what now is calling...

Selling your Stuff and the Wicked Capital Gains Tax. Remember when George Carlin did a skit on STUFF? His one line about how we all have houses for our STUFF. Then… we need to buy a bigger house to move all our stuff to because we out grew the first house..
That transaction of selling the first house will trigger a capital gain tax. And it can be wicked. At Our Age… we are downsizing and selling our stuff: Our primary residence, vacation rentals, rental properties. Possibly renting now or...

HACKING UNCERTAINTY
When something bad happens it doesn’t mean it will harm us
“NOT EVERYTHING THAT IS BAD COMES TO HURT US” Italian proverb
How do we deal with with uncertainty?
We ignore it, we run from it we actually try to control it.
However we can never manage uncertainty. That’s like managing time.
Only our tasks can be controlled with time as the same with uncertainty, meaning we manage our selves in uncertain times
Three steps to take:

While this lifestyle can be exciting and rewarding, it also comes with its challenges. Digital nomads have to deal with issues such as finding reliable internet connections, managing their finances and taxes across multiple countries, and dealing with the loneliness that can come with being away from home and friends for long periods of time. Nonetheless, this trend is rapidly growing and many people are choosing to pursue this lifestyle.

Digital Nomads stats
16.9 million (USA) have “ditched the office” for this new adventurous work and lifestyle. Double that world wide for this trend.
These folks are not living paycheck to paycheck either. According to Nick’s research on average, their monthly income is $4.5 (USA).
People think that the digital nomad life is for the young and adventurous. Not so. Their numbers increasingly are 50’s and 60’s because they want to work but on their own projects, their own time, their own...

Baseball Ejections, Romantic Rejections
The crazy umpires and their constant ejections all point to a power play, anger out of control.
It sets a tone for the game and it isn’t a fun sport any longer when you watch these men eject players and coaches. In one instant the umpire ejected the coach before the game even started.

I’m confused as to why the players do this… however when you see these two clips, evidently the NY YANKEES ENJOY hitting their opponents with the ball.

Baseball, Romance, Announcers, & Music
Baseball has to have the right announcers to be truly enjoyed… their excitement, their tone of voice makes the game more exciting right? I see a lot of great baseball plays on YouTube. The announcer always adds an extra thrill to the games. Baseballs being caught at 100 mph bare handed, acrobatic leaps and catches, painful slides.. The really good announcers describe these amazing plays with such verve, your imagination ALMOST fills in the...

Hall to induct its first Negro League star.

Stories:Baseball Stadiums and Romantic Places
Most of us know or have visited COOPERSTOWN, NY the Baseball Hall of Fame. It is a great place to visit - off the beaten path but surrounded by lush hills and close enough to the Finger Lakes to enjoy NY wine country. I used to be a great batter in the batting cages. The last time I was there all the balls came out at me at once. I screamed like a girl.
