“Chris and Nick are pros of the podcast circuit, with a geniune love of mange thats shows. Or sometimes, a geniune hatred. Or apathy. It depends what they've been put up to read this week.
Each show recaps the manga in Weekly Shonen Jump, as well as some from Crunchyroll or occassional other series they follow. They also review series on suggestion, with a comphrensive backlog. Did you know Spiderman had a manga? He did! They read it, so you didn't have to. Ever. Because they care for you, and rather Nick's soul died than yours.
Nick and Chris has a great rapport, and it's a blast to listen to them tangent off with escalating theories and scenarios. I try not to listen to them on a public commute due to looking like the mad person randomly bursting into laughter, but it's 2015 and I have headphones in, so I'm sure we're getting to the point where that's acceptable now.
If you want to get into or follow manga, (which is considerably cheaper and has more content than a single comic subscription... just saying... ) like finding out how bleh Bleach is being, or why Osamu needs more love or how many points Bartolomeo has gained towards joining the Strawhats, this is for you. Also if you like wrestling and football tangents... yeah, also for you.
May include not suitable for anyone World Trigger fanfictions, but I'm sure that's the woodworker's fault.”Read full review »

“WMR is a lot of fun to listen to every week, especially recently with Nick and Chris's enthusiasm for the current Shonen Jump line-up. The dynamic they have works great as a casual conversation of the past week of manga releases interjected with humorous observations or rage and exasperation...”Read full review »
