I can’t stand the soundtrack. It makes it difficult for me to listen. I wish it didn’t bother me so much, but I hope you dial that waaaaay back.

The level of research amazes me over and over throughout each episode. The amount of work and commitment to each story is top notch. I love the writing and delivery. LOVE. It is unlike any other podcast out there. Do yourself a favour and listen. You’re welcome.

Seriously though, Mollys one of the best researchers on this stuff, and presents it in a way that doesn’t engender endless despair. Learned a lot, and not just about the right, but about how law enforcement surveillance and the courts work.

I’ve always loved Cool Zone Media episodes with Molly as a guest and it’s great to see her get her own podcast. She’s a really good storyteller and her expertise in digging up old court records and local government proceedings brings something more than most journalists do to these stories. This...Read full review »

This is the podcast that convinced me to sing up for “Cooler Zone” premium. I love this and eagerly await every episode

I’ve been following Molly for a few years now and yet I never knew she had such a wonderfully soothing voice. Which is essential for a weird subject matter like this. Her work is always well researched and I appreciate her sense of humor. Now if only I could get her to also read me a bed time...Read full review »

For all of us that recognize the insidious danger of far-right cowards creeping amongst the living, this podcast sheds a ray of disinfecting sunlight. Well researched and told in a compelling story format.

Totally hooked and love Molly’s storytelling.

The show does a great job identifying and analyzing radicalization pipelines and the people who use them to hurt others. Love the host.
Danniboiiiiii via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 09/21/24
Great podcast. Well researched. Good storytelling. I feel like all of the dramatized voiceovers are super hammy and miss the mark, but the compassionate perspective more than makes up for them.
TrezJrelsnren via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 09/21/24
Interesting stories and well researched but the host’s smug tone and editorializing comments take away from the quality of the material.
eddieG9999 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 09/20/24
Excellent journalism and a great podcast but the host talks too fast, I’ve shown this to multiple people and they’ve all said the same. I listen at 0.75 but it’s kind of slow.. great work but just.. slow down just a bit!

Most of these little guys are just scared, they have never committed violence, and wouldn’t. They are free to sit behind a screen and type out their thoughts, but won’t lace up their boots and take action. SFFS
pitateet66 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 09/19/24
Excellently researched and entertainingly told stories of the dregs of our society that have crawled out from under rocks to try to scare us from our way of living i.e. terrorists. Not my usual true crime but it’s important crime for us to be aware of given the times we are in.
Uslayme2021 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 09/18/24
The narrative of the stories are lost amongst a sea of ads all read in the exact pbs broadcast voice which sounds like it’s been crafted specifically to sedate violent death row inmates in the hours before their execution.
Twawahir via Apple Podcasts · New Zealand · 09/17/24
The stories are clearly well researched, and well written, but the constant pausing for (presumably) dramatic effect is nauseating after a while, and somehow almost comes across as patronising. I think if she’d just read it like a normal person it would be 5 stars all the way.

Molly Conger is a great storyteller.

Stumbled across this and though it’s not my usual genre, I’m enjoying it. These stories and the research behind them is so important in these times.

Love the show but the background music is waaaaaay loud sometimes and gets annoying. Any chance you could lower it a bit?
cocktailharvey25 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 09/14/24
I live the show. The only gripe I have is that maybe the you can cut the background music to just occasionally. Having it run constantly throughout gets tedious. Other than that the show is great.

Thank you, CZM, for finally giving Molly the platform she has long deserved! Ever since quitting Twitter, I’ve missed her takes and every episode so far is excellent. 10/10 love love love.

Five episodes in and this is already one of the best new podcasts of the year

You are absolutely fantastic, by far one of the best podcasts out there. I love your content. I only have one small issue, as someone who suffers from misophonia, I really struggle to get through an episode because of the crackle when you speak. I’m not sure it could be a microphone thing but I...Read full review »

Absolutely stellar reporting, narrating, and research. No notes, this is a must listen.

The story is fascinating & the host does an excellent job of weaving some bizarre but true stories. The tone is great. Removing a star because the number of ads is ludicrous. I have no problem listening to ads & understand the necessity. But the last episode had *30* different ads & 4...Read full review »

Molly Conger writes about her subjects, truly awful people, with care. She exposes them for who they are without dragging the listener into the gutter. Highly recommended for those interested in the far right.
Tala64 via Apple Podcasts · New Zealand · 09/08/24
The material itself is fascinating and well researched and the host has an amazing tone and pace but it feels like stories get stuck on a hamster wheel. Every couple of words is “we can’t trust the source” or “i’ll give so and so a break due to their fading memory” and we hear more about the...Read full review »

Excellently researched and told stories about the creeps we wish we’d never need to hear about. But we need to hear about them, and you need to tell us. Thanks! Also, I was inordinately excited when Frank Sweeney guest started in one of my favorite Dollop podcasts (#392 Chris “The Falcon” Boyce)

Citygreg25 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 09/05/24
This show rules! I take some of the criticism from other reviewers, one being ads, but I am a subscriber, so I don’t here them 💅🏽 The narrative arch could be a touch more clear, but I haven’t been lost yet And someone mentioned the lack of b-roll. Im sure we’ll get more of that as the show goes...Read full review »
