“The material itself is fascinating and well researched and the host has an amazing tone and pace but it feels like stories get stuck on a hamster wheel. Every couple of words is “we can’t trust the source” or “i’ll give so and so a break due to their fading memory” and we hear more about the unreliability of the source material than the subject matter itself. I couldn’t get myself to finish an episode and tried multiple episodes and it just repeats itself every time.”
