Nourishing and relatable!
I have just finished listening to ALL of the so-far-released episodes of this poddy and am loving it. I binged the whole lot and found so many specific, relatable moments in every episode with every guest. From being cheated on, pride in making a home for oneself, not wanting children, loving reading alone in one’s own company, through internalized fatphobia, self-sabotage and the expectations to get married - there were so many moments I was just, like, ‘SAME HERE!’. Jill is an excellent interviewer and really gives her guests space and time to speak while also asking excellent questions and being warm in conversation. It’s so nourishing to listen to likeminded people speak about the way they choose to live and the joy they find in their lives. Lives that perhaps look a bit different to what general society has been conditioned to think is worthwhile. Thanks so much to Jill for making this podcast - it’s excellent!
