The Wests Tigers again fell short on the weekend with a 40 points to 28 loss to the Storm at Leichhardt Oval. But while everyone agrees that it was a game that the Tigers maybe should have, or at least could have won, the performance has left many of us scratching our heads. On the one hand, another 40 points were conceded in a performance that included some frustrating errors, a sin bin, and defensive lapses. Conversely, the guys just scored 28 points against the NRL ladder leaders. So,...

We can thank the 19th Century French writer Jean-Baptiste Alphonse Karr for the famous saying; “plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose”. Translation; the more things change, the more they stay the same. And that is the perfect summation for our Wests Tigers at the moment - the effort is still there, but the poor discipline and the lousy execution are too. On this edition of the Wests Tigers Podcast, recorded shortly after the Tigers slumped to their 7th straight loss, Joel Helmes is...
