Really enjoy this podcast as someone who’s from and studied architecture in Ireland but works abroad. It has a great focus on Irish Architecture but with a wide and varied scope in how it covers this topic. I also appreciate how it places Irish architecture within a more global context rather...Read full review »

Great range of guests and topics covered. It’s an outlet for conversations that are happening on the ground in Ireland to be discussed openly in my headphones. I really recommend this podcast to lovers of architecture / people interested in housing

What Do Buildings Do All Day? Is an excellent, well produced, series of podcasts covering a diverse and relevant range of topics in and around architecture and urbanism, relevant in both an Irish and wider context. Emmett Scanlon is an intelligent listener and questioner. Very highly recommended.

Enjoyable conversation with Eoin O'Broin. The original public programme for Busárus sounds great. I am sure it was cherished by Dubliners back in the day but I wonder if many people like me grew up aware of it but had little reason to experience it when functioning simply as a bus station. Ireland has needed a podcast that explores architecture in such a real way like this. The social impact of architecture is almost a role that gets overlooked or just forgotten. Emmet is keeping its importance alive and to the forefront.

Rich discussions on the continuous and dynamic processes that become manifest in our built environment, and the importance of how we, the citizens, relate to them. A joy to listen to and keep them coming please!

Really enjoying the range of voices and experiences of buildings and architecture. Offers a fresh way into the subject without jargon and professional language but without dumbing down the conversations.

This podcast is about architecture, but so much more: you’ll hear about relationships with home, and with the house; about what makes a village/city; and how people can come together to co-design where they will live. You’ll hear from a variety of viewpoints and perspectives, with time and audio...Read full review »

Accessible, articulate & compelling—-a trinity not so common in this p-cast genre. Great conversational insights into what effects us all so greatly; the built world, whether we are aware of it or not. More please!
