Nothing but Praise for WMIT
I listen to this on Spotify and wish I could leave a review/rating there, so I felt it important to come to iTunes just to sing praises for this podcast. It's the best magical/occult/paranormal/supernatural/esotric/and weird podcast I listen to. Douglas is full of wonderful knowledge and advice. His topics are engaging and I personally love the formula of having his guests be like "students" in a lecture; sometimes interacting with their own wonder and sometimes listening intently. There's a great sense of honesty and encouragement I've been getting from this podcast and it's rekindled my thirst to learn and love for history. If you're looking for context and background to your practice, this is a wonderful place to go. It's given me great company on my drive to work, at work, and my alone times on Sundays. And if that's not enough, Douglas's voice is deep and smooth like soft leather. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing your experiences and your knowledge. It keeps me hopeful for my practice even in times of struggle.Read full review »

More reviews of What Magic Is This?

He has a way of breaking down confusing, abstruse (i.e., “occult”) subject matter into accessible pieces. The episode on “materialism” was my first encounter and I was blown away by the...Read full review »

This is a well presented and well researched podcast on a wide range of subjects. It’s amazing how well Doug does on so many strands. And he kind of reminds me of an occult, Canadian Henry Rollins. I’m Not sure if that’s a good or bad thing. But it is entertaining. These podcasts are less of a...Read full review »
