I couldn’t love this more!
I found out about Anne’s podcast from a friend in my bookclub in January, and I immediately had to check it out. There have only been 4 episodes so far, but this has become one of my favorite podcasts! I love to listen in as Anne and her guests discuss and geek out over books. I love hearing about what her guests are reading and what she recommends based on her guest’s preferences. I am a total newcomer to Anne and Modern Mrs. Darcy, but I am looking forward to many more podcasts, and many happy minutes stolen reading her blog. PS My daughter, who is 11, also loves the podcast! It would be so fun if you ever did a show with an older child/young adult and helped some of us parents wade through all of the YA (ahem) junk that is out there!

Anne Bogel is a great host (with a lovely voice!) and her guests have been lively and interesting and diverse, which leads to really interesting conversations about books that I have read and those I haven't and intersections between the two. Such a fun listen.Read full review »

I love to read and I have been so disappointed in some of the book review podcasts. Anne is intelligent, thoughtful and mature and keeps the listener engaged. The other podcasts I tried had giggling adult women, or librarians sounding like they're underwater. I almost gave up!Read full review »

I love the matchmaking element of Anne’s podcast: interviewing her guests, listening to who they are and what interests them, and then bringing forward the next book ideas. It’s almost like sitting down with a fortune teller who gives you a clue to the future. Very nice!
