“The scientific information is generally good and presented in an easy to understand way, with good choices for guests.
However it is brought down needlessly by Ann seeming to rarely miss an opportunity to make racist comments.
For example, in the episode on animals that mine she said:
“Shout out to the Navajo who have been co-opting ants to get cool gemstones for forever.”
Nothing wrong with that, but she then continues:
“My ancestors relied on rape and pillage for the same things”.
Of course she could be talking about the ancestors on her direct family line. I don’t know if her grandparents (for example) raped people as part of gem stone acquisitions.
But I suspect she is using “my ancestors” as just a general anti-white tirade.”
