“As a Canadian who has lived on Vancouver Island I had a little chuckle when the host asked the lighthouse keeper about having ammunition and bears on the island. While I understand that the host is not a Canadian, the questions were amusing yet somewhat ill informed, which suggests that the host might want to do some important research prior to his interviews.
Podcasts reach a large international audience and the host should be aware of the cultures, practices and philosophies of different regions of the world. This will help to make the podcast less “ American centric”
