Great interviewer! Wanted to ask what happened to collier laundry’s sister.

One of the best podcasts I’ve ever found and listened to. Scott is an amazing interviewer and lets the person speak enough but also interjects at the right times . Love his personality and the stories he’s able to find and share. Love when he interviews people with interesting jobs (ex. The...Read full review »

Long standing listener (can’t get enough have always recommended to others); I support the need for advertising & know there is an option for add free ……… but the voice of the cringy woman you have gone with is 🤮 so bad; I can’t recommend it to others until it’s replaced with something that...Read full review »

I’ll get about 5 minutes into an episode and realize I’ve heard it before. I get that there’s updates included in the episodes, but some sort of way to differentiate new and older stories at a glance would be nice.

You lost a fan. Meredith had some very judgmental and dumb comments about drugs and alcohol. Issues with these things are usually a result of trauma and not character flaws. I have never smoked and rarely drink, yet I understand this. Get a clue, Meredith. You sounded as though you’ve never left...Read full review »

Great voice. Excellent questions. Fascinating stories.

Todays “Justine Feared her Brother” was the first time I had to stop your show. Please don’t allow guests to legitimize violence against women. I can understand love for your brother but her language was very anti woman. “Leaving women alone” will not help your brother’s violence and abusive...Read full review »

I love(Ed) this podcast. I’m really frustrated with the other junk that’s being posted. It clogs up my queue and makes it hard to find the true episodes. I don’t need a random Tuesday question. Please go back to the way it was!

I love the conversation and interview style of this podcast. The stories flow so well and Scott asks the questions that I’m wondering about. His voice is soothing and keeps my interest. I actually listen to this podcast and not some others because I like the back and forth better than someone...Read full review »

This show is one of the original shows I’ve started to listening when I listened to podcast, and wow I haven’t find any other like! I love how Scott interview the guest, how compassionate is with them, funny and very respectful !!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️➕😃

The stories are interesting and stir many different emotions on me. Scott’s voice is very calming and I enjoy his interactions with the guests, they give space to the guest emotions and to tell the different aspects of the story.

One of my favourite podcasts. Scott has such a lovely gentle vibe, he seems to put his guests at ease which allows them to share their amazing stories. Keep up the good work!

I wish you would just let the guest speak. Instead of having such a back and forth conversation. It makes it so much more interesting. They are good stories, I just don’t need to hear you ask them questions or complete their thoughts.

Host is smart and compassionate, interviewing people who share a diverse array of life experiences. A cool window into other people’s lives and thoughts. Thank you!

Love it! Very well done and great stories. I’m editing my review to request more stories instead of these questions format that’s popping up all the time. Love the show just not the questions.

Love this podcast but the Bonus episodes are definitely not a bonus. The conversations don’t go anywhere and have no substance. Please drop these airtime fillers.

Is it just me or was there no real description of the moment the tiger stopped attacking? As soon as the narrator mentioned he was going to use the flare, the episode went to an ad and we never found out how the tiger retreated. Very unsatisfying.

Wow
This is such a fascinating podcast… love Scott’s empathetic and non judgemental approach. I’m always amazed that people expect you to be judge and jury when people tell you the things they’ve been up to. That’s not the point of this podcast! Meredith is an unwelcome addition to this podcast. It was much better without her. If she goes I may resume listening to it but not while she’s on any episodes. She is absolutely annoying.

I Absolutely love this podcast and it’s host but, recently all the episodes are the Q&A and are very frustrating. To say the least it’s very underwhelming. If you read this review before I redid it, when I was still a little sour, I apologize. Love this podcast and I’m always excited and to see a new episode available to all listeners. Thank you. Your voice is so kind and compassionate.

I like this podcast and all the stories but I can not stand the high pitched noise you use to separate segments. 😖

I support a few low key podcasts via Patreon. I’ve also purchased products from ads from podcasts. Wanting $5 a month for two podcasts a month an easy pass. Bonus 911 content is even worse. Ppl screaming at 911 not a good sell. Do better and charge less or have a weekly output.

I thought the lovely Swiss background on Chris’ hang gliding “snafu” looked familiar. When he later referred to the Interlaken Tourist Bureau, my hunch was correct. It’s hard to say that this is entertaining, especially whilst you are hearing people’s stories of grief and fear and misery and SHOCK. But this was honestly the best, (and I’ve listened to thousands of hours of podcasts).

This is one of my “listen first” pods. The host, stories and format all enjoyable and often hard to believe. I appreciate that the host let’s them tell their story without inserting his own dialogue .

How one white privileged male somehow managed, with help from Scott’s verbal back slapping, to make himself a hero out of smuggling cocaine with absolutely no sense of shame or remorse over what he did. I’m really enjoying this podcast. I usually find myself drawn to the true crime genre but it does start to become soul sucking, hearing all the doom and gloom. Sending love and hugs to Michael. What a terrifying situation. Just going along about your day, working hard. When someone tries to kill you. Will Michaels leg ever be healed? Probably not. The chosen episode topics are interesting enough but Scott the interviewer is quite cringy. The stories would be better received if they were edited and only the narrators voice was heard. Also they are too long and get into too much boring detail. Love + radio, is this actually happening,...Read full review »

Love this show but the “Saw the Hit” episode is laughable. "Karen gave birth in a Subaru" episode is the first time I've listened to this podcast. Karen seems to be aptly named. She comes across as cynical, rude, and not fun to be around. I an an Australian and really enjoy this podcast, although the lady (short stories November 23) that wouldn’t give the child one scoop of ice cream in a cone because he was 3 cents shorts was ridiculous. I would of been angry as well like the dad.

Worst episode ever. You didn’t get any better stories?? The majority were not interesting, intriguing or even that weird. As for the rest of the podcast…some episodes are ok but Scott needs to up his game as he seems condescending and boring. I use this podcast as a filler when I run out of shows.
Megan Haley via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 11/26/23
The stories are always intriguing, but there is a condescending undertone from Scott. One of the first episodes I listened to was “Lex Couldn’t Stop Bleeding”.
