Has quickly become my favourite listen on Wednesday. Informative and credible insights from presenters who don’t have to pretend they were ‘in the room’, as they actually were.

Two experts sharing their expertise — what more could you possibly want? This is what the Media Show used to be like! Required listening. Superb.

Overall, this is brilliant - incredibly insightful, and I learn a lot every episode. But they love the royal family FAR too much and think every communication they put out is a work of genius. They have a very critical eye on everything else but are strangely blind to the royals’ PR failings.

Sometimes wonder if PR experts have a central moral core.

Fact is the UK Royal Family needs America. And boy the wool cannot be pulled over our eyes again, the UK media is a joke. They are client “journalists” or “PR” for the monarchy. But they crossed the line trying to guilt trip the world because Will &Kate are lousy at their jobs. The...Read full review »

Thoroughly enjoying this podcast and have already recommended it to three people, Simon and David are the sort of people you would like to be stuck in a lift with

So apparently it is totally fine for it to go completely unacknowledged that Simon Lewis’ brother, Will Lewis, current editor of the Washington Post, is heavily implicated in Prince Harry’s lawsuit against the Sun, having worked for Murdoch for over a decade after the scandal came to light. That...Read full review »

I feel bad for not giving a 4/5 star review as this is a brilliant show and generally delivers top quality. But to not discuss the biggest PR fan hitter of the year so far - Hester, TPP and Tory donations is a cop Out . I’m also surprised there isn’t another look at Red Bull as they suspend the...Read full review »

My favourite podcast of the week. The hosts have such brilliant chemistry, gentle humour and have such an incredible breadth of experience between them that they generously share. Two guys still at the absolute top of their game, more episodes please!

I always make a point of listening to this the day it comes out. Great for really understanding what’s going on.

This is the only podcast I listen to at 1.5 times speed. Otherwise it’s blooming interminable. These formerly-relevant white guys really love the sound of their own voices. The entitlement shows in the reeaaalllyy slowww speecchhh and expectation that they should be listened to. Get to the point...Read full review »

New thought I’d be so interested in PR. Thank you.

They're struggling to find anything ethical in PR. Let me recommend : Bowen, S. A. (2007). Ethics and public relations. Institute for Public Relations Gainesville, FL. So let’s see. Greta Thunberg does good without a penny of PR. Facebook does bad paying millions for PR. Mmm, what should we...Read full review »

It can be fascinating sometimes and a bit superficial other episodes. Love the concept but would like to hear more from Simon and a bit less from David

Listened to all the available episodes on a long drive and am completely hooked. The perfect solution for a time when it’s hard to believe - or sometimes understand - what we read or hear in the media.

Everything and more that you could expect from these astute hosts. Instantly tops my personal top five pods. The perfect antidote to some of the tosh on offer.

The podcast chemistry really works. A great listen. Informative but informal, peppered with fascinating observations and anecdotes. Nice easy delivery.

I love the slow speaking pace of this pod... time allowed to absorb what is being said properly. I like too the interesting and insightful viewpoints offered by these two men who have occupied major media roles, but who do not come across as considering themselves 'celebrities'.Read full review »
