Truth is Stranger Than Fiction
I was blown away by the fact that these conversations were REAL and that we’re inhabiting the same world as this cold-blooded, yet chipper and cheerful killer (first episode). If one only listened to the killer’s tone, it would have been easy to mistake the conversation for one about how to make his favorite recipe, when in fact he’s describing strangling his victims. Disturbing and highly engaging, it really carries through that this killer is fundamentally different from normal people who feel empathy, remorse, and revulsion from hurting other people... evil doesn’t even begin to describe him because evil is the counterpart of good. This man just kills... because. Highly recommend this podcast for true crime fans!!!
