My favorite podcasts are the ones I can’t help myself from binging, like a great Netflix series and this certainly falls into that category. The themes, storytelling and production are all top notch and I learned so much. Highly recommend to anyone who cares about sports or anyone else cause...Read full review »

Awesome podcast on the nba and the corruption.
Bus1224 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 11/30/20
All build up to no substance at the end, or really all through it. Also very annoying they bring politics into the end of it.

Amazing mind blowing podcast!

This podcast was great! Very informative, provided a lot of information I hadn’t previously known about the scandal. Also confirmed a lot of suspicions about officiating in the NBA that I already had. Very well done!

And, Michael’s commentary is wise and friggin hilarious!

Holds your attention well but his takes are incredibly bias and sometimes just blatantly untrue

But could have been done as an 8 minute drunk history- to better effect. Not a lot of information.

After listening to Tim on the Bill-Bert Podcast I was very intrigued because I knew so little about this story. Just an incredible and absolutely fascinating story. So scary to hear how many referees come out of Delco. No sport is safe.

Wow
incredibly done

Definitely with a listen, but it was a little overproduced and drug out. I’m still recommending it highly though. Eye opening content! I’m officially done with the NBA.

Bill and Bert brought me here. Amazing Pod with the Guys and looking forward to listen to all the Episodes.

Best basketball podcast I’ve ever listened to
Joey Daniher via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 11/23/20
Somewhat lacking substance. Storytellers drag the thing out for many episodes on vagaries and overhyped revelations that don’t reveal much - also spend too much time on Donaghy and his crew of clowns. It’s clear we didn’t get the full story on this years ago, but this podcast leads to more...Read full review »

I was looking forward to this podcast but halfway through I almost stopped. I waited for the 9th episode where they interview the FBI Agent. Unfortunately you have to deal with loud diner background noise and many things being bleeped out for privacy. The narrator, not the journalist, is annoying...Read full review »

Amazing! Shoutout to the Le Batard and Friends audience
True ESPN Junkie via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 11/17/20
Might be a great story. But this podcast is over produced and just like way too much. It’s not nearly as pleasing to listen to as other podcast such as the one on the Houston Astro’s sign stealing scandal. Cut down on all the bells and whistles and make the story telling more compelling and...Read full review »

Finished entire podcast in my 10-11 hour day at work! I was hooked!
Pdeisel via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 11/16/20
Approached the scandal from a bunch of different perspectives, acknowledged his own biases, great narration voice. Production quality is great, and the music for the podcast, though ultimately not that important, is really really good.
Andrewdrew Dragon via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 11/15/20
Do you want us to hear the words? Or the music? Cut the manipulation if you want real listeners. Tenderfoot is over-producing and manipulating with exaggerated tone and music. Why should we take the content seriously? Oh, and nice nab of the Serial music!

This was absolutely incredible Podcast!

This podcast is fascinating revealing many of the things that we may think, or think that we think, but it lays it all out in black and white from the mouths of the key participants. Very well researched and presented. Professionally, but with tinges of comedy as well. And, in the end, it makes...Read full review »

Really well done. Thorough investigation, compelling storytelling, humane but not soft handling of personalities. Really pulls the curtain on the NBA. Why not tackle the Patriots Spygate scandal next?!

The series is so very well produced and was the highlight of my Thursdays. The subject matter is very interesting and I like how they got the guy from the sopranos to narrate parts of the episodes. If you like the nba, conspiracies and crime this is a really good listen.
Barry Mccocknerr via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 11/10/20
I have never seen the sopranos! But that ad at the end of every episode is the best. I love fiction meeting fact. Art becomes reality. Stunning. Greed, capitalism and hubris. That’s business in America then and now.
DaChaaaammp via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 11/08/20
Exceptional. This is riveting.
Dave Fresca via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 11/08/20
If you like narrative sports podcast you will love this one. It’s like sports meets the true crime documentaries you watch on Netflix. Can’t say enough great things about this pod and I am very excited to see what they do for season 2!

As a Sacramento King’s fan I have my own bias... that was only one episode of the series, and it was intriguing and loved the information that I thought I kneed which turned out to be false. A fine listen, and very informative about one of the most beloved organizations we have in sport today....Read full review »

Well done. Great investigative work. So so interesting
Volks Vagan via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 11/03/20
I thought you did an excellent job showing a much deeper issue in the nba. There have been others to talk about the bias to big market teams, but I thought you provided enough evidence to support an investigation. Nice work!

As a longtime basketball and sports fan. I’ve always felt for years Stern and the NBA were as fixed as it came. As the years went on the more I believed it was rigged and smug Stern somehow got all the credit. Just know that there is a fan out here that loves what you guys are exposing. Thank you...Read full review »

I can’t count the times, I have told my husband that the NBA is rigged. AND... I HAVE NEVER EVER HEARD OF THE ORIGINAL REF SCANDAL! (And conveniently, he has left that story out)! I watch a few games here and there because my husband and son LOVE it. Every single time that I watch, it...Read full review »

After the first episode this made me question sports and being a fan— on all levels. Very thought provoking
MamaMarvel3 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 11/01/20
Decent listen. The major issue I had with this is that once he bet on games that he refereed, he loses all credibility. His statement that he was impartial in those games is absurd. I have no issue with him making this absurd claim and it being in the podcast, but the host and podcast seem to...Read full review »

A great podcast. Informative and entertaining. I am a Laker fan but concede that the league stole the 2002 NBA Championship from the Sacramento Kings and they are the legitimate 2002 NBA Champs. Great example of how things are not always as they appear to be.

Absolutely fantastic podcast. Keep up the great work.

As a big NBA fan, I’m torn between the alarming detailed shared on this podcast and my love for the game. I wish Adam Silver, LeBron and named referees would respond to the questions and suggestions raised in this podcast. I’m not naive though... Love this podcast!
