This should be just one long form podcast as I just listened from beginning to end in one hit. It’s everything you believe about the world being true!!

I love basketball and the deep dive into a major scandal of my favorite sport was a bit hard to stomach. However, I appreciate how Tim was able to collect the views of people involved with the case as well as people from all walks of life who love the game as much as I do. I had no clue Ralph...Read full review »

I’m obsessed with Tim (host) and his natural way of portraying this scandal. I loved every minute and hope to listen to other stories of theirs. The audio mixing of the ads was comical weird but simply just an observation and didn’t affect the story. Thank you guys!

Thank you for such a detailed job on this podcast. Totally agree with you the refs should not be employed by the NBA. Made my walks so enjoyable.

I stopped watching the NBA years ago because I was suspicious the games were rigged. It’s nice to have my quirky views confirmed

Fantastic podcast. Had to add miles to my daily walk to continue listening. Hope they have enough to continue with a season 2.

Fantastic work on one of the biggest sports stories in my lifetime. You shed new light on this story. Hoping some of the people you wanted to talk to will participate in more episodes.

Enjoyed it all. Kept me hooked and dying for the next episode. Thanks for explaining the difference between manipulating and purposely making bad calls. The investigating was good.

I put off listening to this because I wasn’t sure it would be that good and I didn’t know much about the betting scandal. I started listening and I couldn’t stop! It’s one of the best podcasts I’ve listened to.

Great podcast, great insight into how referees and the NBA can manipulate games/series to benefit for financial gains.

This is a must listen. I have zero interest in basketball or the NBA and this is a great podcast. A compelling story is uncovered. Fantastic themes and fascinating “characters.”

The first few episodes were exciting but it quickly devolved into a “how can this go viral?” adventure. The creators initially acknowledge the relationships that could affect independence but do nothing to address it. The results are edgy takes with dramatic music hitting every time someone says...Read full review »

Amazing work and extremely enjoyable story telling. Appreciated the exposure of ties to the powers much greater than the NBA that control the narrative and intimately the money in this country.

Great expose! But ultimately not surprising the Feds chose not to break up this multimillion dollar racket when they allow trillions to be pilfered from the public in broad daylight to prop bankrupt capital markets by the corrupt cabal of wall street, the fed and their bought friends in DC.

Listen up sports fans, this is one of the best podcasts out there. As a huge sports fan, things need to change in the NBA and other professional sports! This is so telling how ruthless and corrupt, these officials really are. But more importantly, that organizations like the NBA and the NFL...Read full review »

I just Hope people realize that the NBA has a motive ! They know who they want to market.... Shoutout Donaghy for holding his own and taking the HEAT.... HE WILL SOON BE RECOGNIZED AS A TRUE GOAT

If you enjoy fiction and fact-free conspiracy theories, this is the podcast for you. In reality the basis of this podcast are fallacies that have been debunked in the past. Not much new here. Very telling that Sean Patrick Griffin, one of the only reliable people who is interviewed, has harshly...Read full review »

Now this was a podcast. I have listened to hundreds of podcasts and this one delivered on every level. Talented interviewing, research....production. Of course we dismiss the possibility of refs playing dirty.....but money/power....it’s crazy to think it’s not happening. I was running while...Read full review »

Great podcast. Good reminder that the NBA is still corrupt and Stern was a crook. It’s too bad nothing will ever be done to fix it as the talent is truly fantastic. Really enjoyed finding out that Mark Cuban is now a puppet, toeing the company line. Clearly he’s all about the money now and not...Read full review »

Just when you think the tale can not go deeper or get dirtier.... it takes a dive. A master class on how to ask the right questions

To the ones saying this podcast lacked substance, you are out of your minds! Truth is, we have a hardcore FBI agent saying that the rogue ref theory was garbage. In fact, he says flat out the games were fixed by certain referees and crews of referees. It is obvious that some dirty stuff is going...Read full review »

I can’t wait to hear the rest of this series after listening to episode 1. Fan of true crime or sports podcasts? This one is for you.

Super podcasts, very insightful examination of the scandal and wider picture of what potentially goes on.

Investigate if there are magnets in the nba ball or rim ..refs wouldn’t matter

I won’t look at the NBA the same way after this. Given how protective the NBA has been over this scandal, Tim really does an amazing job of uncovering information. There are more questions to be answered but this is an eye opening story that really makes you wonder - why ARE there still so many...Read full review »

I’m recommending this to every sports fan I know. For years I’ve had a hunch that most pro sports have some level of tampering. Lots of interesting surprises here tho. I could listen to 4 seasons of this investigative work. I would also listen to Tim Donaghy tell war stories for hours!...Read full review »

This pod is so well researched and well thought out. The NBA should have been and should still be investigated and brought to justice for the corruption and fraud against the fans of the sport.

There better be a season 2! I knew most games were fixed but this proves it. Amazing podcast, was hooked from the beginning.

Sometimes a little over-produced, other times the audio was quiet and there were a few more unanswered questions than I’d prefer but that’s real life. Ultimately it was a fair well-told self-aware story with an entertaining narrator (Imperioli) that provides great background on the stories I...Read full review »
