So excited
I'm so excited about this podcast! Just listened to the first episode and I love the name, the host and idea! I'm very interested in the history of political campaigns...where was the drama? What were the issues? I think John sounded a little bit like he was reading and that is okay but would be a little better if he could have someone to bounce off of... someone to pose some questions to bring a little more to the discussion but not to interrupt the expert!Read full review »

John’s analysis is always smart, cogent, and pithy. He’s not prone to bloviating, and cuts to the point quickly and compellingly. He’s one of the best political writers working today, and I’m excited to see what he has in store in future episodes. Thanks Slate!

Johns endorsements have always been a highlight of the gabfest - so happy to have this weekly. Wondering if your kids delight or despair at your propensity for storytelling?
