Fantastic show
I love listening to this podcast. I find the stories inspiring. It gives me hope that we can improve our medical system. It’s discouraging to listen to the news and hear what’s bad about health care in Canada. If only policymakers could listen! I had to add. I just listened to the episode on transplant part 2. Fantastic and inspiring. I want to share I received a bone marrow transplant in July 2019. The donor match was found through a world Wide Database. I believe it’s Canadian branch is run out of Ottawa. They found my9/10 match in California. He became a donor after hear a classmate in college give a presentation. He’d been a recipient. My donor gave his sample and wasn’t contacted until a few years later. I often count my blessings but applaud his altruism. Thanks to people like him and Heather.

Always has the most contemporary topics and really challenges my outlook into the hidden realities we very seldom hear about.
