Awfully loud adverts, can’t listen with headphones. Too bad, story is interesting

I really want to listen, but all of the commercials are too much. :(

Disappointed with this one. More for the individual that’s interested in Puerto Rico.

Not a fan of the sponsorship - had to stop listening. Too bad.

I enjoyed learning about this event and the PR separatist movement. It’s a little known part of US history.

As a Puerto Rican myself, I am saddened that I never heard of this story. Thank you for the investigation and for making this story more public!

I definitely remember this from years ago. Unfortunately this show didn’t shed any new light on what happened. And only about half the series is directly related to the robbery. There are no interviews with anyone who might have worked with Victor. No interviews with anyone who even knew him....Read full review »

Starts out intriguing, then turns into communist propaganda. The author should not equate terrorists with the founding fathers. Ridiculous!

Just plain trash

Content is interesting , except it gets ruined by the constant amount of ads. Hard to follow along when the story gets repeatedly interrupted

The number of commercial breaks really destroys the flow of this story. Otherwise it would be very enjoyable.

This podcast rambling SO hard about things that do have anything to do with the heist. They go down a rabbit hole and then you realize you have no idea what they are talking about. It is honestly boring, which is crazy to say when you see what it is supposed to be about

For each 30 minute episode, there are like 3 ad breaks, each a few minutes long, which seems like a lot. So I literally did the math and it works out to be roughly 25% of each episode is ads. The story is not engaging enough to justify the constant interruptions and in fact makes the whole...Read full review »

Just more of the same cop loving nonsense that litters the podcast world

This is so cool! How the heck do I not remember this story!? I lived 2 towns over from W. Hartford in the 80s!

Thought this was supposed to be a podcast about a bank robbery. Instead it’s a terrible narration about how Puerto Rican people deal with racial injustices. The first two episodes were bad but I thought the story would get better eventually. The 3rd episode was icing on the cake for this being...Read full review »

I was interested in the content but the ads are way too frequent and long. I think there’s more time in the episode dedicated to ads than the actual podcast content.

Good storytelling ruined by way too many ads

When I heard the Trailer for this show advertised on a different podcast I listen to, I thought it was being narrated by Ray Liotta from the movie Good Fellows, so I had to check it out. This guy sounds exactly like Ray Liotta and if you don’t believe me then watch the movie…So far this series is...Read full review »

This is exactly how a podcast should be written, voiced, and delivered. Perfect.

Giving voice to a cop pointing a gun and threatening a … citizen woman person and a dog?
terryxky via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 04/14/22
Could be a compelling story, but 30 seconds in the narrator says, “They stole over $7 million dollars, in todays value, that would be over $19 million. Really? Isn’t $7,000,000 still $7,000,000 in volume and sq inches? I get a dollar doesn’t buy what it use to, but a $100 bill is still $100...Read full review »

It’s a decent listen so far, but the number of ad interruptions is frustrating.

Interesting podcast but half the time is advertisement. Every 5 minutes there’s 3 or more commercials for 5 minutes

This is a very well-done, well-researched podcast. The Intro and the first episode got me hooked. I’m a big fan of Dateline, City Confidential, Forensic Files, First 48, etc.. Since it’s only 6 episodes, this should be short, sweet, and interesting: just the way I like it. Five FASCINATING Stars.

Great work yet again on a serialised podcast. Can’t wait for epis 2

Unfollowed after the first episode. Cop tells this story about pointing a shotgun at a woman’s dog, IN HER HOUSE, then scoffs at her for being “afraid or whatever.” No comment from host.
