Thank you, ma'am
Cameron Esposito is a hilarious and charming host (which you'll know if you listen to her other podcast, Put Your Hands Together). It's hard for her to talk about ANYTHING without being engaging... but when it's my favorite genre of movies (sci-fi/action)? That's appointment podcasting. I'm not quite sure what that means, but you get the idea. I listen to a lot of podcasts, and they usually take a dozen or so episodes to find their groove. Not so with Wham Bam Pow. Episode one, and it's already fantastic. Breaking the show up into segments keeps things focused and moving. Discussion about movies you love with jokes aplenty. Fun, open-hearted movie review show, with great segments and interviews. I also really appreciate the reviews of older films - the Barbarella episode was great.
