“This trio is not particularly funny. You can tell because they laugh at their own lame jokes. Edgeless, cloying, faux-sincerity. For some reason they’re reviewing “action sci-fi” movies even though they seem to look down their noses at the genres. It’s like an NPR podcast for people who don’t understand pop culture but want to have a banal, condescending opinion about it.”
