Vampira-style narration works…
…works ONLY on TV. I can actually see how it would work if you were watching pictures to distract you. But you can’t just take TV audio and call it a podcast. It doesn’t translate. So, 2 issues hamstring a potentially great podcast. 1.) shows WAY too short. 2.) glaringly obvious issue of narrator's VOICE. I can see how she would just be Great in some other venue— so just Re-record every episode & modulate for a podcast. Get away from TV talk . ….talk like a normal person. As is? Comes off SO phony & off-putting compared w/ sincere guests— just awful. USE NORMAL CADENCE & INFLECTION. All the added voice drama is truly insulting to your guests AND your audience's intelligence. Fix those two issues in this podcast could break big. But it’s not gonna make it with advertisers, ratings and number of listenership if you don’t fix these teeny weenie 20 minute episodes being narrated by Vampira.Read full review »

More reviews of Who the (Bleep) Did I Marry?
The two episodes I wanted to listen to did not feature the stories described in their blurbs. Annoying.

I like the stories but the narrators fake , overly dramatic voice , with its constant rising inflection at the end of every sentence is ridiculous. How does a professional narrator not know how to speak properly?

I muscled through the first one, but barely. The snarky narrator is the reason I cannot listen to any more of them. Agree with others that the voice is so strange that it almost sounds computer generated. Otherwise, story was compelling.
