“I totally agree with other reviews. Age of consent varies by location, but the adults in this story should have more compassion for Jane. Hamish’s behavior was predatory and despicable. No one seems to have protected Jane. I guess the adults in her life were also groomed. It’s just so awful that she seems to feel responsible, and the adults in her life have allowed her to believe that’s right.”
