“I wish this show was what it claims to be! I listened back when it first started, hoping to be updated on pop-culture folks… but gave up after having to spend the entire show on Google and Wikipedia to figure out WTH was being talked about. So I gave it a break.
I tuned back in today, looking for something after the election… but it’s exactly the same, “Paula Cole is Ship”. I listened to this bit and then had to spend 15 mins researching who Paula Cole is, and what this was referring to as they didn’t actually give any context or even mention the name of the show.
The stated purpose of this show is that we should get all our pop-culture content and updates from you so we don’t have to research. But you actually leave me more confused every time I have listened.
I REALLY wanted to like this. I need a service like this. But this podcast is just SOOOOOO full of insider knowledge, inside jokes and cryptic references that it’s totally useless unless you’re already dialed in.”
